Section 1 -

For my final major project, I will be creating a film poster and packaging for food products within the children’s and family genre with exciting characters and typography fonts. My film poster will be colourful and exciting with adventurous 3D characters and background where there will be fonts and titles such as "In Cinemas Now" and the release date. I'll be using advanced creative programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Spark to put on the display as shown in cinemas. For packaging for food products, I will sketch and plan celebration cake and limited-edition cereal boxes with 2D animated characters and backgrounds while I am designing my own cake and box packaging. I feel excited about my own film poster and I want it to be in the adventure or fantasy genre. My target audience will be children and family with "U" or "PG" rating.  

 

 I will research and analyse about that film genre, target audience and children’s film posters which has exciting details such as fonts, colours and styles of film poster by illustrators who have very good quality design work. I will research posters and packaging examples and to analyse the details of the posters I will examine the fonts, styles and colours that designers use to make posters professionally. I will be creating my own poster as part of my experiments. I will be making my own 3D models for my film poster professionally as part of my final experiment while I am using Adobe Fuse, For example, Dreamwork's Animations and Pixar have 3D characters and backgrounds have exciting and pleasant details on these posters. I will be following the tasks of my planning/production and experiments of my coursework effectively to support my final major project and to aim for a higher grade when I insert advanced techniques and tools on my final experiments. 

 

I will sketch Happy Meal boxes with 2D animated characters and background and activities such as word searches or mazes for children as they're my target audience. Children will play activity with my Happy Meal box template.

 

For my final (piece as an experiment), I will use advanced creative programs for my posters with characters, fonts and backgrounds to make it professional for display in cinemas as part of my topic. I will design my final poster within the children’s and family genre poster. I will use advanced programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw to design my own packaging boxes for retail stores and fast food restaurants for my target audience and to make it more professional I can display on my posters and packaging designs before they sell at the supermarket. My creative skills for my topic can be advanced to progress onto a higher standard of work while I am studying professionally with my own words without copying from different sources and my research and analysis work and experiments can be effective. 

 

 

Section 2 -

For my project improvements, I will design different versions of my within children’s and family film genre on double-decker buses, billboards, trams and bus stops so they can see the film poster to persuade people to watch a film at the cinemas while I am creating the advertising campaign of my film to the public.  

 

For digital advertising campaign, I will create a 20 or 30-second trailer of a film with different scenes and audio using Adobe Premiere and advertising of the film with positive persuasive words such as "In Cinemas Now" at the end of an advertising commercial.
